Study Finds E-Cigarettes No Threat to Heart

Electronic cigarettes, an increasingly popular option among smokers trying to quit, do not appear to pose a threat to the heart, according to results of a clinical study presented on Saturday.

Greek researchers said e-cigarettes – battery-powered metal tubes that transform liquid laced with nicotine into vapour – had no adverse effects on cardiac function in their small trial.

    This is definitely true. Logically you are not introducing any chemical to your body, its harmless.

    It never occurred to me that e-cigs could harm the heart. Where did that idea came from? If they said it would harm the lungs, it would have been believable. The logic of ecigs affecting the heart is simply hard to believe.
